I am an advanced podiatrist with a special interest in adult and paediatric gait analysis and the management of foot and ankle conditions.
I studied as an undergraduate at Salford University where I achieved a BSc Hons Podiatry. I took further postgraduate studies at Glasgow University and obtained a Pg Cert in paediatric podiatry then returning to Salford University to complete extended scope status in rheumatology. Since this time, I have completed a MSc in professional practice and completed further training courses in orthopaedic and injection therapies.
As part of the biomechanical gait assessment I use the very latest gait analysis equipment with gives a detailed overview of normal and abnormal gait and running patterns. Not only does this allow the individual being assessed to understand and see their abnormal gait pattern, it also allows other team members such as orthopaedic, podiatrists and physiotherapist to use this information as a part of the individual’s rehabilitation package. It is also a good way of measuring your progress.
For further information on the gait analysis equipment we use visit our gait analysis section on this site.
